World e-Commerce Growth Projections and Online Language Use Projections for 2004 - 2005

This is a list of the top ten online languages/countries that are projected for 2005. Two big online languages, Portuguese and Russian, were left off this 2005 projection, I don't know why, but I found other resources that have this info, and almost all of the other "smaller" online presences as well (another chart below this one). |

This is important information, but it can be deceptive… it is important that you look at the current and projected online spending trends for these countries / languages. Forrester Research Predicts $6.8 Trillion for 2004 Forrester Research predicts that by 2004, international online spending will reach $6.8 trillion. This huge amount comprises Forrester's projection for both business-to-business and business-to-consumer transactions online.
